Artist's Comments

I did this using only a single pixel paint brush. There were no special effects or fancy Photoshop tools used on this image. As you can see, the effect is quite unique.

WOOOOW this rules man!!
I just see one big problem: you uploaded it in the wrong category! :(

Even if you used a 1x1 pencil tool, the technique you used isn't pixel art: each pixel wasn't carefully placed, you just dashed the mouse around.

The effect is truly amazing, but I urge you to move it to the correct category (digital art > oekaki), because I really don't want this reported and deleted by someone. :)
Thanks for this piece though. Quite inspiring.

Amazing... I cant believe you went through all of that just for the effect. I would have died of boredom, and not knowing which color to put where. Nice work!

Philippians 1:21
For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

It took Jesus' tears, blood, and life to show how much He loved everyone...but some people still do not see it.

It didn't take as long as you would think. Over the span of about 2 days, I put in about four hours into it. I'm thinking of making an even bigger one for printing. It will probably take me at least a week to do.

geez! I would break my computer (not only because it is too slow to handle that kind of thing)

Oh my gosh, I thought this was an acrylic or oil painting! You did this with a 1-pixel brush?! That's amazing! I mean, I loved the piece already, but then to find out it was done with a 1-pixel brush... that must have taken a lot of time and patience. Awesome job!

Q: Why couldn't the lifeguard rescue the hippie?
A: He was too far out, man!

Thank you, It didn't take as long as you would think. I was thinking of making a larger one, but then I got distracted and kind of forgot about it.
